Online Driver’s Education
Spring Session has begun, the next Drivers Education course will be held in the Fall of 2010.
Update: 04/13/2010
The State of California requires you to spend 30 hours studying Drivers Education before you can get your learners permit. This online driver education course lets you study at your own pace, on your schedule, any time of the day or night. This course sets the foundation for behind-the-wheel Driver’s Training and is in accordance with the guidelines set by the California Department of Motor Vehicles. Each course accommodates 150 students for registration. The course is offered two times a year. Upon successful completion, students will receive a DMV- approved certificate of completion (pink slip). The Newport-Mesa Unified School District does not offer Driver Training, otherwise known as behind-the-wheel instruction.
All students must be 15 years or older and have internet access to enroll.
The above application window will close on Friday, April 9th at 12:00 noon. The course is scheduled to run from April 13, after 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on May 11, 2010.
