Board Confirms Appointment of Community Members to Serve on Superintendent Selection Community Interview Group

On Tuesday, March 27, 2012, the Board of Education confirmed 30 representatives to serve on the Superintendent Selection Community Interview Group.  10 of the representatives were drawn by lot during the meeting.  All names were assembled in bags and sealed earlier in the day, a process overseen by a community member.  The 10 names were drawn in public and pulled by a student in attendance at last evening’s meeting.

The remaining 20 individuals were appointed directly by the employee groups or organizations they represent and their names were forwarded to the Board for confirmation.
