NMUSD combines caring relationships, trained staff, standardized emergency procedures, secure facilities, community partnerships, and modern safety technology to maintain the safety of students and staff.

High school and middle school students must complete online CHP safety training and pass a quiz, while elementary students will participate in age-appropriate training during the school day.

Thanks to community partners and volunteers, more than 2,000 students received essential school supplies, health services, and other resources to help them begin the school year ready to learn.

Ms. Susan Ungaro brings more than 20 years of experience in public education to her role as principal of Lincoln Elementary.
