About the Event

The Newport-Mesa Unified School District’s College and Career Night is an annual event that allows 7th-12th grade students exclusive access to hundreds of college representatives and the chance to explore careers in a variety of fields. Between their studies, extra-curricular activities, part-time jobs, and the day-to-day of being a high school student, often students do not have many opportunities to gain knowledge and insight about their future paths. This one night “expo-style” event is a fantastic way for students and families to become informed and inspired about post-grad options.

All levels of higher education will be present: private and public colleges/universities, community colleges, career technical education/trade schools, as well as the military branches. After walking around the 36,000 sq. ft. fair consider dropping in to one of the informative presentations! Learn about important college and career related topics at presentations running throughout the event.

Registration for College and Career Night is now open!

For questions about attending as a college/university representative, career/pathway representative, student resource organization, or vendor please contact Breck Lytle via email.

We are looking for parent and/or high school student volunteers (bring high school volunteer hours form for a signature!) to help set up vendor booths, pass out maps and breakdown vendor booths for NMUSD College and Career Night on October 21, 2020 starting at 5pm. Volunteer spots are in 2 hour time increments.

Please contact Breck Lytle via email.
