Use of School Facilities

Important Info
All requests must be submitted at least 21 days in advance. While each submitted reservation will be reviewed, reservation approval is subject to the availability of the facility requested and staff coverage.
Although NMUSD makes every effort to maintain the accuracy of event information posted on the Facilitron calendar, at times, the Facilitron calendar may not include nor reflect all permitted/scheduled events occurring within NMUSD facilities. NMUSD reserves the right to decline applications for facility use that conflict with previously permitted/scheduled events that may or may not appear on the Facilitron calendar, or if the use does not comply with NMUSD Regulations and Policies Regarding Community Use of School Facilities.
Costa Mesa Field Reservations and Permits
The City of Costa Mesa is the agency responsible for reserving sports/athletic (except artificial turf) fields for all NMUSD sites located in the City of Costa Mesa. During the school year, the City permits fields beginning at 4:00 pm at elementary and intermediate schools and 5:00 pm at the high schools. During holidays, weekends, and school breaks, the fields are exclusively permitted by the City.

Performing Arts Center Resources
Prior to submitting a Facilitron reservation for a Performing Arts Center (PAC), please review the infographics below and email a completed copy of the Performing Arts Center Facility Use Application to PACSupport@nmusd.us. This will help ensure that we are able to accommodate your reservation needs.

2025-26 District Holiday Schedule
Due to the upcoming District holidays outlined in “Exhibit B” below, NMUSD staff will be unavailable to service reservations. Please keep this in mind when submitting reservation requests for these dates. If you have a facilities use permit through the City of Costa Mesa and/or the City of Newport Beach, please contact the appropriate city for the status of your permit. Thank you.
