Well Removal

On September 27, 2024, after several years of successful cleanup efforts, Newport-Mesa Unified School District received the notice for case closure for the underground site cleanup, necessitating the removal of all wells and associated remediation equipment. 

From June through August 2025, construction activity related to well removal will occur in the neighborhood. The project will involve the coordinated removal of unused wells and the associated restoration of the affected area.
