Receiving is processed on a daily basis and on a “first come, first served” priority. Exceptions are only made in cases of perishable items and high-dollar items that need to be secured. Please be aware that materials come in to the Warehouse in flows of peaks and valleys and the processing is reflective thereof. Please allow ample lead time when placing an order to avoid last minute emergencies. Any item over $500 in value will require additional processing involving asset tagging and, in some cases, IT processing before delivery can be made. If any item is purchased via “will call” by the requestor, it is imperative that the item be delivered to the Warehouse. This will ensure the proper processes are followed and all documentation completed.
If you have not received your item even though ample time has passed for its shipping, processing, receiving and all documentation and delivery thereof, please follow up with the Purchasing Department regarding the status of your order. The Purchasing Department is privy to information not accessible by Warehouse personnel, and they can address your concern much quicker and with more accuracy. In addition, please be aware when tracking a shipment from a carrier, even though the Warehouse has signed for the box, it does not mean that all of the processes have been completed to allow its delivery. Please allow a standard work week (5 days) for receiving and completing all required documentation after your shipment has been delivered to the Warehouse before expectation of delivery to your site.
