Newport-Mesa Unified School District (NMUSD) is proud to offer Career Technical Education (CTE) programs that provide hands-on learning, career exploration, and a strong foundation for college and high-demand careers.

Beginning in elementary and continuing through middle and high school, students can explore interests in a variety of exciting and high-demand areas such as computer programming, robotics, medical, media arts, construction, culinary, and more!

Through these programs, students develop technical and workplace skills that turn classroom learning into real careers through projects, certifications, internships, and college credit opportunities.

Today’s CTE is not an alternative to college. It is a powerful pathway to college and career readiness. Students graduate with practical experience, industry-recognized credentials, and a clearer sense of purpose in fields such as engineering, health science, computer science, business, the arts, construction, public service, and much more!

This February, during CTE Month, follow NMUSD’s social media channels for a closer look at the programs that help students discover their passions and prepare them for future success.
