Please see below for updates on ongoing and upcoming construction activities on the Estancia High School campus.

Theater

The theater project continues to make progress with walls being erected in the main stage, seating, and black box areas. Underground utilities also continue to be installed. See the latest project update (English | Spanish) for more information.

Courtyard

 

Plans are underway to construct a student courtyard with shaded seating and landscaping in the concrete area where the former pool was located. 

It is anticipated that construction will begin this summer, with projected completion in early 2025. See the project flier (English | Spanish) for more information.

Paving

It is anticipated that improvements to the Estancia High School parking lots will occur this summer. This will include the replacement of the solar parking lot and a portion of the southern lot, ADA improvements, additional fencing, and relocation of storage bins.

As part of this project, the bus drop off in the front of the school will be relocated to the south lot. This relocation allows better access to classrooms, minimizes traffic congestion in front of the school, and improves access to the drop-off/pick-up lot on Placentia Avenue. 

A logistics map with additional information will be shared as construction nears.

Football Team Room and Weight Room

Plans are currently underway to renovate the existing drama building to convert it into a new football team room, coach offices, and indoor/outdoor weight area to better accommodate the needs of the football program. 

The project is currently in the early design phase with a construction start date after completion of the construction of the new theater.
