Newport-Mesa Unified School District (NMUSD) is partnering with WeTip, a 24-hour anonymous reporting system (tip line), for secondary schools. Suspicious activity and safety concerns can be reported to WeTip anonymously and confidentially.
Call 911 for immediate threats or emergencies. Please remember that this reporting system is not a substitute for emergency services, and if you feel like you or someone else is in immediate danger, you should call 911 immediately.

Tip Report (other topic)
WeTip is a reporting system for non-immediate threats to be reported. All reports will be taken seriously and immediately reviewed by WeTip. Depending on specifics about the tip, WeTip representatives will immediately inform school administration about a tip and in emergency cases also directly report tips to emergency personnel (such as the Costa Mesa and Newport Beach Police Department) for immediate response and action.
Working together as a community is the key to creating a safe and positive learning environment for everyone. By using the WeTip reporting system you can help us maintain a safe and secure school community.
For more information about WeTip, please visit our WeTip webpage.
Our elementary school community will continue to abide by the practice of “see something, say something” and report safety concerns to a teacher or other adult on campus. This process allows us to continue to promote parents having direct connection with our elementary schools and continue to foster positive relationships with teachers and principals.
