Newport-Mesa Unified School District (NMUSD), in partnership with Vital Link OC, presented its first Virtual College and Career Night. The event was open to all 7-12 grade students and families who had the opportunity to engage with representatives from more than 150 colleges and universities throughout the United States and internationally. The event also included career booths representing a variety of high-demand industry sectors, military, Regional Occupational Programs (ROP), and business and industry partners

There were more than 1,000 participants in virtual attendance who were also able to participate in live breakout sessions to learn more about the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)  and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).

“While we missed seeing everyone in person, we love that the virtual college and career night resources will be accessible throughout the school year,” said Director of College and Career, Michael Vossen.
