    2022 Proposed Trustee Area Mapping

    California Education Code 5019.5 prescribes the following:  The boundaries of the trustee areas shall be adjusted by the governing board of each school district before the first day of March of the year following the year in which the results of each decennial census are released.

    Trustee area boundaries were adopted by the District in 2018.

    At the Board meeting on January 11, 2022, the Board and community received a presentation pertaining to Trustee Area Boundaries and related legal requirements.  The Board directed a study session to be held for further review of Trustee Area Maps.

    Further review of Trustee Area Maps took place at a study session held on February 1, 2022. Below are the four Conceptual Trustee Area Scenarios that were presented for review.

    The Board will review and take action to adopt revised Trustee Area Maps at its meeting on February 8, 2022.
